BBQ 101 at ACC Library

Athens Regional Library

The Athens-Clarke County Library is holding the latest in Adulting U sessions. Those interested are invited to attend BBQ 101 with Chuck Ramsey, owner of Pulaski Heights BBQ. Attendees will learn how to season, smoke, and serve BBQ.

Rhiannon Eades is the Public Information Office for the library system.

“So he’s going to deliver the basics of how to barbeque, how to season your meat, the best way to smoke it, the best way to serve it,” Eades said. Honestly, I think the best part of this program is there are going to be samples, so you can try some of that barbeque.”

The session is Sunday, July 16, at 3 o’ clock. Geared toward adults 18-35, Adulting teaches life hacks and skills. Previous topics have included information on how to manage student loans and basic car maintenance.  All the classes are free and open to the public. No need to sign up before attending.  It will be held in Multipurpose Room C.
