A domestic disturbance call ended in a drug bust for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the call on Old State Road in Pendergrass.
According to a media release from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, when deputies arrived, they found Nathan Crumley throwing bags of drugs out the window of his truck and into the yard of the residence. Deputies seized methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, marijuana gummies, THC vape vials, mushrooms and $25,000. Authorities say the street value of the illegal narcotics was $53,000.
35-year old Crumley, of Tucker, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and heroin, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a schedule 1 substance, He was taken to the Jackson County Detention Center. The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office is assisting with the investigation.
