A new ranking of the top US colleges for your money for 2018-2019, has the University of Georgia listed among the best.
Money magazine graded the 727 best colleges and universities on 26 characteristics including graduation rates, tuition, student debt, and alumni earnings.
Princeton University was rated number on the list UGA came in the top 100 at number 94. Money Magazine cited UGA’s 84% graduation rate as being well above most public schools. It also noted the school’s manageable student debt load, the number of students and faculty who ear national awards each year, academic and cultural resources housed at the university, as well as the Peabody awards.
The magazine also considered Athens one of the nation’s top college towns.
Other Georgia schools on the list included Emory at number 124, Georgia Tech came in at number 19 on the list.
