10th District Congressman Jody Hice Seeking Reelection

We’re wrapping up our interviews with the candidates for the 10th district with congressman Jody Hice. He tells WUGA why he’s seeking re-election.

10th District incumbent Jody Hice is facing five challengers this election, three democrats and two republicans. Hice says he is running on many of the same issues he fought for last election.

Voters head to the polls again Tuesday from 7am to 7 pm.

Joe Hunt Candidate for 10th Congressional District

Joe Hunt is the final challenger featured in our continuing coverage in the race for the seat held by incumbent Jody Hice.

Businessman Joe Hunt is among the candidates taking aim at the 10th District Congressional seat. Hunt says he became interested in running in part due to the bitterness and divisiveness in the wake of the 2016 election.  he doesn’t think like the idea of safe seats and career politicians.

Economics his number one issue, wants to include small towns, and farms in economic booms.

Bradley Griffin 10th District Candidate

Republican challenger Bradley Griffin is joining four other challengers hoping to unseat Congressman Jody Hice.

Republican Bradley Griffin is among the candidates hoping to take the 10th District Congressional seat currently held by fellow Republican Jody Hice.

The former Army ranger says he’s wants to work on bipartisan issues like lowering prescription drug costs and legalizing the growth of industrial hemp among others.

Griffin served during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Tabitha Johnson-Green is one of five challengers hoping to win the 10th U.S. Congressional District.

One of three Democrats and two Republicans trying to unseat incumbent Jody Hice, Tabitha Johnson Green says she brings a different perspective to the race. She says she’s a concerned citizen, not a career politician and new ideas are needed in Washington. 

The registered nurse is based in Sandersville. She says wants to help shape and define the laws that impact everyday citizens.

Richard Winfiled is one of several candidates vying for the 10th district. He’s letting WUGA listeners know why he’s running.

A former UGA philosophy professor, Richard Dien Winfield is one of five candidates vying for the 10th District Congressional seat currently held by Jody Hice. Dean says he wants to address people’s rights.

Winfield says the right work, a fair wage would address needs including green infrastructure, transportation and human services.
