Become a friend of WUGA

Support WUGA

The Friends of WUGA is an association of individuals and families who share an interest in WUGA (91.7 and 97.9 FM) and want to contribute to the survival and growth of local public radio in Athens, Georgia. The Friends group has three purposes:

To provide feedback and to voice opinions about WUGA, its schedule, and the station's activities. The Friends group also provides opportunities for fellowship with others who are passionate about the station, music, the arts, and news of the world and our community.
To raise critical funds for the station, whether by direct contributions, or by encouraging other public radio listeners to support the station directly, or through events that will raise funds for the station.
To build a wide base of support for the station. We need help to ensure that the Athens and UGA communities understand the value of WUGA and continue to support it.
To become a Friend of WUGA, fill out our pledge form and make a minimum donation of $35 to WUGA ($15 minimum if you are a student). All contributions are tax deductible.
