The Lyndon House Arts Center is hosting the second of its of Artists Edition Series. A print launch and reception is being held for Athens’s artist Eleanor Davis. Program Supervisor Didi Dunphy says the pictures with words exhibition will be on display through June second.
“Eleanor is an extraordinary cartoonist and illustrator who lives and works here in Athens and she has designed a screen print for us entitled “Snakes and Pears,” Dunphy said. “We also have an exhibit of her original works, and as you might know, she is a well-published author.”
The event is Saturday from 3 to 5 pm at the Lyndon House Arts center. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the print edition goes supporting the programs at the facility. Last year the Lyndon House Arts Center featured a print by artist David Hale which sold out.
