Before many hit the road for Thanksgiving, the University of Georgia is once again hosting its annual free vehicle inspection.
Operation Safe Drive takes place Thursday, November 18th at the Tate Center Parking Deck. Transportation and Parking Services mechanics will top off fluids, check belts and wiper blades, pressurize tires and perform a quick visual inspection of vehicles at the event. All UGA students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by between 10 am and 2 pm. The Office of Sustainability and Bike Athens will provide free bicycle safety inspections and tune-ups.
