Leaders across the nation are preparing for this summer’s rollout of the new 988 crisis line meant to supplement 911. The federal act creating this mental health emergency line passed recently with the July 2022 deadline for launch. But Georgia, with its existing statewide mental health hotline, in already a few steps ahead.
