Athens-Clarke County Commissioners will get another look at a narrowed down list of potential TSPLOST projects at their work session on Tuesday.
The TSPLOST advisory committee will present the mayor and commission with a recommended project list at the 100% program budget level. The list of projects includes continuing fare-free transit, electrifying Athens’ bus fleet, updating culverts and stormwater infrastructure and plenty of bike and pedestrian improvements.
The committee has paid special attention to prioritizing sidewalks where people are already walking and biking, such as Lexington Road and the West Broad/ Atlanta Highway corridor.
