Athens nonprofit The Ark is once again holding its Adopt-a-Mom fundraiser. The event runs in May, but the adoptions start in April.
Each $25 adoption sponsors either a single mother or an isolated mother or grandmother in nursing homes or hospice care. The money also funds the Ark’s mission.
