The Athens Clarke County Mayor and Commission will vote on a resolution to protect abortion access in tomorrow night’s meeting. The resolution is directed at mitigating the effects of the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe V. Wade and deprioritizing the criminalization of reproductive health care. It would also commit the mayor and commission to ensuring that abortion care is included in the health insurance coverages made available to ACC Gov employees.
