Former president Donald Trump leads in the race for the White House against President Joe Biden in Georgia, according to a new survey published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The poll showed that 45% of surveyed Georgia voters planned to vote for Trump, while only 37% said they would vote for Biden. The other 20% did not show support for either candidate, with 6% claiming that they would not vote at all in the November election.

The poll was conducted by the University of Georgia School of Public and International Affairs from Jan. 3-11 and surveyed over 1000 registered Georgia voters. The margin of error is 3.1 percentage points.

A similar poll conducted by UGA and published in the AJC in November showed Biden and Trump nearly tied in Georgia, but only surveyed those who intended to vote in the election.
