The three soldiers who died in a weekend drone attack at a U.S. base in Jordan are from Georgia. Spc. Kennedy Sanders and Spc. Breonna Moffett became close friends soon after enlisting in the Army Reserve five years ago. Sgt. William Jerome Rivers served a tour in Iraq before joining the same company of Army engineers.
Moffett and Sanders from Waycross, about a 100 miles southwest of Savannah. And Rivers lived Carrollton. The drone attack Sunday also injured more than 40 others.
