Future Land Use Map lets Athenians weigh in on city’s development

Josh Olalde

Athens-Clarke County will grow by tens of thousands of people in the coming decades. By 2028, the county needs to have its Comprehensive Plan in place, a document which guides development. A part of this effort is the creation of the Future Land Use Map, a process which offers current residents a chance to voice their opinions on where and how development should occur.
