Early voting has begun for the May general primary. Athens-Clarke County residents can cast their ballots until May 21st. Last week we heard from candidates for County Tax Commissioner. Today we’ll hear from Carol Myers, a former educator who currently represents District 8 on the County Commission. She’s running for another term and sat down with WUGA’s Emma Auer to discuss her campaign.
We’ve reached out to Commissioner Myers’ opponent Sidney Waters eight times over the past six weeks. While we have heard from her, she has not yet been able to interview with us. We look forward to having her on Athens News Matters in advance of the May 21st election.
