The part-time positions include a Poll Clerk, Poll Coordinator, and Assistant Poll Coordinator. Both Poll Coordinator and Assistant Poll Coordinator pay a little over $17 an hour, and Poll Clerk pays a little over $15 an hour. The positions are available on www.accgov.com/pollworker and applications close on Sept. 2.
Each employee will be assigned a polling location by the Board of Elections. Employees are also required to complete election training before each election and attend their precinct site pre-election day to help set up polls.
