September is National Preparedness Month, where the University of Georgia and other institutions around the country promote educational initiatives and events to help people become better prepared for emergencies.
These activities are particularly meaningful in the shadow of the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
WUGA’s Greg Trevor, a survivor of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, talks with Adam Fouche, UGA’s Executive Director for Emergency Preparedness, about the steps members of the university community can take to protect themselves.
It’s the latest segment of the WUGA series, “A Few Minutes With …” exploring university initiatives and their broad benefits to the campus community and beyond.
