Community Recovery Center comes to Barrow County

In the wake of the school shooting at Apalachee High School Barrow County officials are looking for ways to assist individuals who been personally affected.

The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency has partnered with Barrow County to open a Community Recovery Center. This facility is meant to help the community and families who have been affected by the Apalachee High School shooting on Sept. 4.

The CRC offers a range of resources to help accommodate individuals in need since the incident. These resources include financial assistance, legal services, spiritual and mental health care.

The CRC hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at 175 2nd Street, Winder, GA. Anybody wishing to contribute can visit barrowcommunityfoundation.org to help staff and family members.
