As Georgia voters turn out in record numbers across the state during early voting to elect their national, state and local leaders, they will also have to consider 3 statewide measures on the ballot. Georgia residents will be asked to decide 2 amendments and a referendum. For many voters, the language seems cumbersome and not necessarily easy to grasp. WUGA’s Alexia Ridley is joined by attorney and Emory professor Matt Roessing to help explain these questions.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
