There’s a growing push for expansion of medical cannabis in Georgia with many veterans joining the call.

Right now about 14,000 Georgia residents are on the state’s low THC oil registry. About 30 percent of Georgia’s 600,000 veterans live with some sort of disability but not all quality to be on the registry. The oil helps people dealing with issues such as PTSD…which is on the list, but efforts are being made to include Anxiety and Depression to the list.

The issue is expected to again be a hot topic for state legislator when they reconvene for the upcoming legislative session that begins January 13th.
