All UGA residence halls will remain open. The dining halls will also remain open on Friday, but opening will be delayed by one hour, and closing times may be adjusted if weather conditions warrant. Campus Transit will end service on Friday, January 10, at 3 a.m. and resume service when weather conditions make it safe to do so.

The University of Georgia expects to resume classes and normal operations on Monday, January 13. Continue to check UGA’s social media accounts for updates and important information.

Here are tips and resources available for use during the inclement weather:

  • Verify your UGA Alert contact information to ensure your ability to receive emergency messages at ugaalert.uga.edu
  • Keep your cell phone and other portable devices charged
  • Avoid any non-essential travel during winter storms
