Athens News Matters: "The Scottish Play"

In honor of Friday the 13th, we talk about a supposedly cursed play, and a real-life experience that happened to a UGA professor at the Metropolitan Opera.

  Athens Peer Court is a leadership program in which youth volunteers serve as the lawyers, judge and jury in sentencing hearings for youth who have been charged with misdemeanor offenses. Started by Emily Boness of the University of Georgia J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, the program has trained dozens of youths. WUGA's Alexia Ridley paid a visit to the courtroom. 

We visit Very Good Puzzle, a local company that draws on the work of local artists to create, well, very good puzzles.
