ACC Launches Second Round of Emergency Grants & Loans

Starting today, Athens businesses and nonprofits can apply for the second round of the Joint Development Authority Emergency Grant and Loan Program. 

 

Funded through the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government and the federal CARES Act, the Emergency Revolving Loan and Grant Program is designed to support small businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.

Grants range from $750 to $14,385, and low interest loans range from $3,000 to $12,500.

Businesses who qualify for the program must have between one and twenty employees, be physically located in Athens-Clarke County, and agree to perform at least one Public Benefit Commitment. Businesses who accept loans will also have access to a network of local guidance and mentorship.
