African Perspectives for August 30,2020

This final episode in August provides updates on the August 18, 2020 military coup in Mali which was led by five colonels of the National Committee for the Salvation of the People and which saw the resignation of President Ibrahim Keita and the dissolution of the government in Mali. The episode also focuses on the announcement by the UGA African Studies Institute that most of its programming for the 2020 fall semester will be conducted virtually or postponed until next fall in some cases.
