African Perspectives for July 26, 2020

This episode is the fifth of our popular, five part summer series, Africa Music Safari. For our purpose, we have divided the African continent into five regions- North, East, West, Southern, and Central and each week, we feature a selection of tunes from a particular region. These special music shows take us through July and expectantly, contribute to your summer enjoyment. This final episode features music selection from the Central Africa region. We also feature a special segment for African Islands beyond the six independent island nations. As always, the episode featured selected enjoyable music from Africa and/or by Africans comprising selected tunes from Gabon, Cameroon, and the Democratic Republic of Congo including Kanda Bongo Man with the pulsating tune, Zing Zong.
