African Perspectives for May 16, 2021

This second episode in May is an encore presentation from  October  11, 2020 and features information on the career and music of three African royalties – Wes Madiko of Cameroon; Salif Keita of Mali; and King Sunny Ade of Nigeria. The show provides some information on the career of each of these outstanding and renowned African global stars. This episode also provides information on current virtual programming of the UGA African Studies Institute. As always, the episode featured selected enjoyable music from Africa and/or by Africans including selected music from our three featured artistes.
