Farmer Suicide: UGA Dean Looks at Causes and Possible Remedies

Around the state, and across the nation, a disturbing number of farmers are taking their own lives. The factors leading to rural stress and suicide are numerous, but Dr. Anna Scheyett, dean of the UGA School of Social Work, is shining a light on this serious problem, and offering some possible ways to reduce the numbers of farmer suicides. A warning to our listeners, parts of this conversation may be upsetting to some.
