The school year has been off to a bumpy start as the Coronavirus Delta variant continues to spread. As part of their response the Clarke County School District launched a dashboard that updates with data on positive COVID cases among students and staff almost in real time.
As of noon Thursday, there were 260 confirmed COVID cases within the school district in the past two weeks, with approximately 6% of students and staff currently in quarantine.
Wednesday evening, the district sent an email out to parents announcing that Clarke County High schools will move to virtual learning next week.
