Dr. Akinloye Ojo, the host of African Perspectives here on WUGA, brought his wife, Dr. Oluremilekun Ojo, into the StoryCorps Mobile Booth to discuss their 16 years of marriage. Both immigrants from Nigeria, the Ojos had to work together to navigate a new country in addition to their brand new relationship. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
