James Darnell served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and became an instructor pilot for American Soldiers. Then, as part of the Vietnamization policy, he began training South Vietnamese soldiers. In this story, he tells his daughters Julie and Lindsay Darnell about some of the students he taught and why he loved flying so much.
