Athens StoryCorps: Jamie and Beth

In this conversation, sisters Jamie Jedlicka and Beth Thornton talk about memories from their childhood as well. But, the memories they hold are especially important because a childhood accident threatened to ruin Jamie’s memory forever. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people. All of the interviews were produced locally by Morgan Frey.
