Athens StoryCorps: Kelly and Jonathan Poquette

Kelly and Jonathan Poquette met while traveling, but the distance between their home states threatened to end their relationship before it could truly begin. Now married, they recount this confusing time in their lives and how they ultimately overcame the distance. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
