Even though Emad Ahmed did not know StoryCorps facilitator Nalani Saito before he walked into the StoryCorps mobile booth last fall, he came in with an important story about his friend and former patient JP—one that Emad says is a story of hope. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
