Georgia Museum of Art to Reopen

Museum Trustee Association

The Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia will open its doors to the public on August 13th after four months of closure.

Hillary Brown, the Director of Communications at the Georgia Museum of Art, tells us what to expect.

"We added pre-time ticketing to limit the number of people in the building at one time, those are half-hour slots, we are requiring masks for all visitors and staff members," Brown said. "We are not doing tours, but we have to ability to do some virtual tours."

Safety procedures will be constantly evaluated through a post-visit survey given to all visitors.

The GMOA is a financial supporter of WUGA.
