Georgia Reaches Another Milestone in COVID-19 Cases, Tops 300K

Georgia's number of coronavirus cases has topped the 300-thousand mark. The state health department is also reporting 6,474 deaths. More than 27,000 have been hospitalized due to the virus and there are currently nearly 5-thousand people in the ICU. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, 24,346 case have been added during the last two weeks in the state, for a total of 300,903 cases.

 

In Athens-Clarke County, there are 4,774 cases, with 38 deaths. 1,417 of those cases happened during the last two weeks.
