4,794 Georgians have died due to COVID-19 and there are more than 240-thousand confirmed cases. As of Tuesday, the state health department reports that Clarke has 41 new cases.
The total for the county now stands at 2305 cases and 21 deaths. Barrow County reports 1466 cases and 34 deaths.
One person has died in Jackson, bringing its total to 18 deaths and 1221 cases. Madison has 462 cases and seven deaths, Oconee has 475 cases and 16 deaths, and Oglethorpe has 253 cases and eight deaths.
