UGA Parking Services is once again helping members of the university community have a safe holiday season with department’s annual Operation Safe Drive event.
On Thursday, November 15th, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, all UGA cardholders are invited to the Tate Student Center parking lot where mechanics from UGA Transportation and Parking Services and UGA Facilities Management Division will top off fluids, check belts and wiper blades, pressurize tires and do a quick visual inspection of vehicles. All free of charge.
In addition, the UGA Office of Sustainability will be on hand to offer bicycle safety inspections and tune-ups.
UGA Parking Services has partnered up with several departments on campus for this event.
Campus Catering, Facilities Management Division, Office of Emergency Preparedness, Office of Sustainability, and UGA Traffic Safety Research Group will all be onsite - with information and give-a-ways.
