UGA Named Top Fulbright Scholar Producer

The University of Georgia was named a top producer of Fulbright U.S. Students for the fourth time in the last decade by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs after Fulbright awards were given to 14 UGA students and alumni for 2020-2021. The Fulbright Program is a premier international educational exchange program sponsored by the Department of State, however many recipients of the international travel-study grants have faced delayed or deferred start dates as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Others have proceeded forward with their grants either in person or virtually.
