The UGA Office of Government Relations is working with the ACC government on encouraging UGA students to fill out their online Census noting Athens as their place of residence while in college.
It is critically important that off-campus students fill out the online Census for their Athens address rather than their parents' address to ensure that this area receives federal funding that supports college students including healthcare and financial aid resources.

Students should use their Athens address to ensure funding for important services students enjoy like healthcare and some financial aid. The survey takes less than 10 minutes and can be accessed at my2020census.gov.
