UGA PAC's New Season!

The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center announced their concert lineup for the 2019/2020 season this week.

This 24th concert season begins this September, and features 35 performers from at least 16 countries. Earlier, WUGA’s Michael Cardin spoke with Jeffery Martin, Director of the UGA Performing Arts Center about the series.

Chamber Music Athens is underway through May 21 at locations around Athens.

The festival, which is in its first year, brings together UGA students and faculty, along with world-renowned performers for over a week of masterclasses and recitals.

Earlier this week, WUGA’s Martin Matheny had a conversation with two of the featured performers.

The Hugh Hodgson School of Music presents the first annual “Chamber Music Athens”, a new festival with a national scope that brings together internationally acclaimed guest artists , UGA faculty and students for 10 days of concerts, classes, discussions, and more. Organizers and UGA music professors Liza Stepanova, and Michael Heald spoke with Michael Cardin about the festival.
