The internet places vast quantities of information at our fingertips - but it's not all cat videos and comment threads. Dr. Jessica Kissinger, professor of genetics and director of UGA's Institute for Bioinformatics, introduces EuPathDB - an online library of scientific research for more than a dozen major human pathogens, including malaria, sleeping sickness, and toxoplasmosis. EuPathDB brings together data from thousands of international studies, all freely accessible - making new connections and insights are easier than ever before.
