Recently we partnered up with Professor Vicki Michaelis and her multi-platform journalism class at UGA’s Grady College, to produce a series of feature stories focused on sports.  We challenged the students to seek out information that went beyond the playing field, to explore more than just the box score or individual feats of athleticism….we invited them to go to a place we like to call, The Other Side of The G. This first episode starts thousands of miles away, where one athlete dreamed of a better life.
