Musician and Georgia native Richard Wayne Penniman, better known as Little Richard, died on Monday. WUGA's Jimmy Sanders, host of "Music from High Cotton," brings us this remembrance.

Jimmy Sanders was general manager of WUGA from 2011 to April 1, 2024. He has worked in broadcasting for over 50 years and has produced news, documentary, music, sports and special events programs for radio and television. Jimmy is a graduate of Grady College.
