Representative Jody Hice is hosting a telephone Town Hall Meeting this evening.

It’s the second such event for the tenth district congressman this year. During the live conference, Hice will provide constituents with an update from Washington.

Hice says he expects to hear a lot comments regarding Tuesday’s State of the Union address.

“We scheduled this one, obviously, on the heels of the State of the Union Address, so what we’re anticipating tonight is hearing a lot of thoughts, what people thought about the State of the Union address,” Hice says, “and hopefully we’ll be able to fill in some gaps as to how we’re going to move forward from here in terms of getting together both sides of the aisle and moving forward on common interests for our country. So this is a time to just keep folks informed and to hear from them.”

The event is open to the public. For those interested in joining the telephone Town Hall, can visit hice.house.gov to RSVP and submit questions.

“We hold Town Hall meetings on a regular basis—telephone Town Hall meetings—and our purpose is to keep people informed as to what’s happening here in Washington and, most importantly, to hear from them and what’s on their minds,” Hice says. “And we just are always accessible to folks, and we have found this to be a tremendous tool to stay connected people of the tenth district.”

The telephone Town Hall runs from 6 pm until 7 pm this evening. Constituents can join by calling 877-229-8493 and entering the passcode 117571.
