The 6th Annual Bark & Wine event is coming up next week. The event is the signature fundraiser for the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter. Due to the popularity of the event, organizers have moved to a larger venue, the Historic Smithonia Farm, this year. Board President Sherrie Hines tells us what attendees can expect.
“It’s a great event, always involve a silent auction, a really popular live auction, raffles, there is food that’s donated by Carrabba’s Italian Grill which was amazing last year. This year we also have Mama’s Boy donating a dessert and coffee bar. There’s wine from Mr. Boutier
All proceeds go directly to care of unwanted and abandoned animals. MOAS takes in about 2,800 animals each year.
