The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Dorian is expected to strengthen to a powerful Category 4 storm before hitting the Florida coast.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has declared a State of Emergency for 12 South Georgia counties ahead of Hurricane Dorian. Kemp has also signed an executive order temporarily waiving specific height, weight, and length restrictions on vehicles traveling through Georgia for disaster preparation or relief.
To make sure Georgia has an uninterrupted supply of fuel, emergency supplies and foodl, the Governor earlier issued an order suspending federal rules and regulations which would limit hours commercial drivers may drive.
