The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is continuing its investigation into the downtown shooting Sunday. The department is requesting help from the community. Athens-Clarke investigators are seeking pictures and videos bystanders make have taken on their cellphones. Police are focusing on the time from midnight to 2 am Sunday morning in the area of East Clayton Street and North Jackson Street. The shooting suspect, 21-y7ear old Pharaoh Williams was taken into the custody in Wilkes County Monday. Police say Williams fired into the crowd after a large fight broke out. Seven people were injured, there were no life-threatening injuries.
