Gov. Brian Kemp signs Constitutional Carry Act into law.

Georgians no longer need a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the state. Governor Brian Kemp signed SB 319 into law Tuesday afternoon. He said the new law enhances public safety.

The Governor also signed HB 218 into law, that legislation ensures that people who are authorized to carry in another state now also authorized to carry in Georgia.
