UGA Presents Kicks Off 2022-23 Season Thursday

UGA Presents kicks off its 2022-23 season this week, The War and Treaty band, which features a fusion of different musical genres takes to the state Thursday evening, marking the season opener and the band’s debut at the Performing Arts Center.

Performers range from musicians, to dancers, and others, including legendary violinist Itzhak Perlman, the Martha Graham Dance Company, and public radio personality Ira Glass.

In addition, Athens artist Kishi Bashi will also perform with the UGA Symphony Orchestra in October.

Performances run from September through May.

Jeffrey Martin is the Director of the Performing Arts Center. He discussed the upcoming season with WUGA, which is a media partner of the Performing Arts Center.
