UGA's Evans named to All-America team

UGA volleyball star Kacie Evans was named a Third Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. She is the fourth UGA volleyball player in the program’s history to make the All-American list.

This year, Evans finished first in the Southeastern Conference in both total kills – 489 – and total points – 578. Evans will return for a final season next year.

Her teammate, Sophie Fischer, picked up an honorable mention from the coaches association.
